Drama Class
This is a creative space filled with inspiration, support, and friendship. Here, every child has the opportunity to become a fairy-tale character or a favourite hero, discover their talents, overcome stage fright, and believe in their own abilities. During our classes, we improvise, play, create our own stories, work on performances, make creative videos, and bring our boldest ideas to life together. Every child in our club has the opportunity to step onto the stage and experience the joy of being an actor.
Why Is Theatre Important for Every Child?
Many parents believe that theatre classes are only for children who dream of becoming actors. In reality, theatre is much more than performances and the stage — it is a unique environment for a child’s all-round development.
Theatre classes help children to:
- build confidence and overcome the fear of public speaking;
- improve diction, speech, and presentation skills;
- develop creativity, imagination, and improvisation skills;
- understand their own emotions and the emotions of others;
- express themselves and discover their creative potential;
- strengthen communication and teamwork skills;
- improve memory, attention, and concentration;
- develop stage presence and self-confidence.
Age group: 9 years and older.
How the Classes Work
Our classes combine both theoretical and practical learning. We work on diction, articulation, proper breathing techniques, and public speaking skills, helping children learn how to use their voices and feel confident on stage.
The practical part of the programme includes improvisation, creating scenes and performances, developing imagination, creative thinking, memory, and teamwork skills.
Students explore a variety of roles, learn about Ukrainian and world theatre, and discover famous actors, theatres, and theatrical traditions.
Beyond regular classes, we participate in performances, concerts, creative projects, and various extracurricular activities where every child has the opportunity to reveal their talents and feel like a true performer.
Our Creative Projects
Every year, we create two major theatre productions and prepare individual performances for concerts and festive events.
Our students are involved in every stage of creating a performance — from developing ideas and working on scripts to creating characters, costumes, props, and stage design.
We also participate in international competitions and festivals, proudly presenting our performances on the international stage.
Theatre teaches children not only how to play different roles but also how to better understand themselves and the world around them. Every step onto the stage becomes a step towards personal growth, new discoveries, and greater confidence.
